Financial Hardship

If you’re a position to do so, you can donate towards our Hardship Ticket scheme,: this will help sponsor tickets available to members of the LGBTQ+ community who may be experiencing financial hardship and unable to otherwise attend the event.

We would not wish any member of the LGBTQ+ community to feel excluded from, or unable to attend Essex Pride as a result of financial difficulties.
If this might apply to you, please contact us here so we can discuss options.

Accessibility and Carers Tickets

Essex Pride is committed to making our event as accessible as possible to all.
The event is held in Central Park which is accessible from Chelmsford town centre via step free access, however the ground is a grass field which may pose some issues for some wheelchairs if the ground is soft.

Accessible toilets will be available on site in 2 locations.

As with last year the Main stage will feature a BSL translator.

If you have any concerns or queries, please contact us here.

Pride visitors with a disability who need to attend with a registered carer must pay for their ticket; however, the carer will be allowed in free of charge and will be given a carers wristband.

The carer may purchase alcohol for their service user but they may not consume alcohol themselves whilst working as a carer.

If you need a carers ticket please email us here.
