It is the biggest LGBTQ+ community celebration in Essex, and is all set to return on Saturday 21st June 2025 in Chelmsford.

Essex Pride is back again and returns for its 21st year with the pride festival in Central Park, and Pride March through Chelmsford City centre.

This years pride celebrations include:

• The Pride Festival Stage with live acts and DJ’s
• The Cabaret stage, celebrating local artists and showcasing new talent.
• The Pride Silent Disco Dance Tent
• Circus Workshop, Entertaining Sideshows and Stalls
• Great Food & Licensed Bars

The Essex Pride March, takes place in the City Centre, and Individuals and organisations can sign up to take part in the march by following the link here.

The March Route.

The march is an accessible route and will start in the city centre, taking in the high street, before moving through the city parks ending in Central Park at the Pride LGBTQ+ Festival event. The march is aiming to be the most inclusive and visible demonstration of the LGBTQ+ community in Essex to date.

The Chair of Essex Pride, Garry Ormes explains,

“We are so pleased to be returning with the Essex Pride march again this year, it feels so important to recognise the pivotal part that pride marches have played in driving changes in society and law”.

As part of Essex Pride 2025, we are excited to be bringing a parade through Chelmsford City Centre again and to recognise all those before us, who have taken to the streets to make a stand against inequality.
